Susan commiserates with Clarrie about losing her role in the Mystery Plays. There鈥檚 been talk about Eddie in the shop. Clarrie knows his name鈥檚 mud after walking out on Lynda but staying with Darrington鈥檚 show. Later Kirsty informs Susan Lynda would like her to take over Clarrie鈥檚 role of king. Susan鈥檚 aghast; she couldn鈥檛 possibly do that to her friend! She prevaricates. How would she tell Clarrie? She鈥檒l have to think it over. But Clarrie鈥檚 heard every word, and assures Susan she wouldn鈥檛 mind at all. Susan would be her first choice for taking over the role. She鈥檇 be much better, and more suited to the horse riding. The what?? Susan鈥檚 appalled.
Jazzer and Jim have been interviewed by the Echo about the delivery of Alice鈥檚 baby. Leonard hails Jazzer as the hero of the hour. He fills Jazzer in on his time capsule idea. As Jazzer relates the story of Martha鈥檚 birth, Leonard exclaims the account is a perfect candidate for inclusion in the capsule. They chat about last night鈥檚 Mysteries rehearsal. Jazzer declares he鈥檚 not returning until Clarrie and Eddie are replaced. He鈥檚 astonished at how rude Lynda was to Leonard. Humble Leonard asserts he did make a hash of his lines.
Later Tracy thanks Jazzer for his part in the safe arrival of Martha. She shares the horror of her experience when she had Chelsea. She鈥檇 been alone and terrified. Jazzer鈥檚 moved, and abandons his birth account for the time capsule. He鈥檒l tell Leonard he鈥檚 changed his mind. As Tracy said, men have no idea at all.
