Mark and Stuart hear from actor Ewen Bremner about his latest film role as infamous record label founder Alan McGee

Today they hear from Scottish actor Ewen Bremner. Famed for his role as Spud in Danny Boyle鈥檚 film adaptation of Irvine Welsh鈥檚 novel Trainspotting, he began his acting career in the 1980鈥檚. In his latest role he plays the infamous founder of Creation Records, Alan McGee, in forthcoming film 鈥楥reation Stories鈥�. With a script by Irvine Welsh, the biographical drama charts the rise of McGee and the record label.

Creation Records was an important part of the indie scene in the 1980鈥檚 and 90鈥檚 with bands including Primal Scream. Alan McGee famously signed Oasis to the label after seeing them play in Glasgow in 1993.
