Almost a year on since the Traverse hosted their last concert in front of an audience, The Soundhouse Organisation present an online series of Spotlight concerts: ten intimate gigs filmed at the Traverse, presented as-live, and featuring 16 of the best emerging and established acts from the world of traditional folk, jazz, and Americana music. Starting this week, the series will include such talents as Lizabett Russo, The Cathal Mcconnell Trio, Dean Owens and Mr McFall's Chamber. Founders of The Soundhouse Organisation & co-producers of Soundhouse Spotlight, Douglas Robertson and Jane-Ann Purdy, join Bruce live with some exclusive music from the upcoming sessions.

From The Ground is an exciting new, environmentally conscious collaboration from stalwarts of the folk scene, Ali Hutton & Laura-Beth Salter. From very different musical upbringings, From the Ground is a celebration of the music that they share - a musical exploration into the world around them which is influenced by current issues surrounding the human effect on climate change, health and wellbeing and freedom of movement. They recently ran a successful campaign to fund the making of their debut album, which aims to highlight social and environmental concerns and promote change for good. Ali and Laura-Beth join Bruce live.
