Boyz On Block, Perfect Planet and Kwoklyn Wan

Nicki Chapman goes behind the scenes on Perfect Planet and welcomes Boyz On Block and professional chef and restaurateur Kwoklyn Wan to bring Chinese Takeaway to you

Nicki Chapman plays the best music and welcomes amazing guests to Saturday mornings.

Having first met over twenty five years ago at Pride in Bolton and sold more than sixty million records combined - Abz Love (Five), Ben Ofoedu (Phats and Small), Dane Bowers (Another Level) and Shane Lynch (Boyzone) are Boyz On Block. They became firm friends, in contrast to the public perception of band rivalries and quickly realised they had a shared love of pop and R&B. The music of the 1990s provided the soundtrack to their lives, leading them to officially unite to reinterpret some of the tracks which meant so much to them. They have already released a collaboration with Tony Mortimer of East 17. Nicki will find out what other treats they have planned.

Kwoklyn Wan literally grew up, with his brother Gok, in the kitchens and store rooms of Chinese takeaways and restaurants. He has now become an author, chef, restaurateur and expert on Chinese cuisine. Kwoklyn will unlock trade secrets with Nicki to bring Chinese takeaway to your kitchen with just five ingredients and very little prep.

Nick Shoolingin-Jordan is the producer of the Perfect Planet's breath taking episodes The Sun and Humans. Nick filmed a sequence in Thailand in which fig wasps go through an elaborate and sacrificial mating process. Sarah Walsh researched and filmed in 12 different countries across all 5 episodes of The Perfect Planet including wood frogs in Cincinnati and Galapagos marine iguanas in Fernandina.

Nicki also plays The Greatest Record Ever Made...But Rarely Played, dips into The Chappers Collection to feature an artist she has worked with in the past and asks jounalist Sophie Harris to take our minds off the news in Nicki's Escape Club
