Miriam Skinner opens up a selection of music from a cellist鈥檚 point of view - revealing familiar and unfamiliar works in a new light.

91热爆 Philharmonic cellist Miriam Skinner presents a feast of sound - from music that reflects the strange internal workings of Maurice Ravel鈥檚 mind, to a folk group based around the corner from Miriam鈥檚 home in West Yorkshire.

She also dissects some of what she calls Stravinsky鈥檚 鈥榞ift to the world鈥� (including describing how exhausting it is to perform), and taps into personal memories with a piece by Elgar recorded by some of the greatest string players of the 20th century.
