Tom catches up with New York City-based artist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and vocalist Eartheater, looking at her current album Phoenix: Flames Are Dew Upon My Skin. She composed and workshopped most of Phoenix over a ten-week artist residency (FUGA) in Zaragoza, Spain, housed in a sprawling, cubic glass facility that looked out over wildflower-flecked mountains. It's her 4th studio album, the first since 2018's IRISIRI.
