Ubuntu Pathways breaks the cycle of poverty by providing South Africa鈥檚 most vulnerable children with what all children deserve - everything, every day. Through an integrated and individualised support system of health, education, and household stability, they have pioneered a pathway out of poverty - from first steps to first jobs.聽

Like other children born in South Africa's townships, Nozi grew up without the resources needed to reach her potential. But Ubuntu intervened, year after year, with holistic healthcare, education, and psychosocial support to put her on a pathway out of poverty.

Emergency COVID-19 Response

Emergency COVID-19 Response
When the pandemic hit the townships of Port Elizabeth, Ubuntu was forced to close their primary school and launch a large-scale Emergency COVID-19 Response. They provided food security for 30,000 people, remote services to hundreds of families, and critical healthcare and PPE to 27 institutions in Ubuntu鈥檚 community.聽

Reopening the Ubuntu School
Township children don鈥檛 have access to the internet, healthy meals, or stability at home.聽 Help Ubuntu reopen the Ubuntu School so 225 children can be guaranteed a safe place to learn, access to medical care, healthy meals, and psychosocial support, and a chance to thrive.
