Cerys hand picks 3 hours of tunes from her eclectic record collection, featuring cross genre tracks and worldwide gems. This week her Sunday selection includes Loma, Charles Kynard, Nordic Fiddlers Bloc and Al Green as she reaches from ambient and folk to jazz and Mexican mambos.
Multi-instrumentalist Cosmo Sheldrake takes us out and about on a winter's field recording, in attempt to capture the sounds of a tawny owl. Two-time Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Paul Salopek tells us what music he's heard whilst travelling the Earth by foot as part of his Out of Eden walk. Plus Cerys pays three tracks as a ode to the river.
