The world-famous King's College Choir sing carols old and new, all filmed without a congregation and with the choir socially distanced to protect against coronavirus.

A solo chorister begins to sing Once in Royal David's City, in the candlelit chapel of King's College, Cambridge, and the well-loved celebration of the Christmas story begins once more. This year, the young choristers are joined by The King鈥檚 Singers, singing within separate bubbles and filmed without a congregation, to protect against coronavirus.

Well-loved carols include the Sussex Carol (arr. Vaughan Williams), In the Bleak Mid-Winter (Gustav Holst, arr. Wilberg) O Come All Ye Faithful and Stille Nacht (arr. John Rutter, performed by The King鈥檚 Singers). The Christmas story is told through the words of the King James Bible, with poems by Toni Morrison and Howard Thurman.
