In the year where Goldie's seminal album 'Timeless' celebrates its 25th birthday, 6 Music welcomes the Drum n Bass pioneer to play music from his vast record collection.

Kicking off Christmas week in style Goldie shares the songs he loves and the music that shaped him as an artist. A show packed full of classic Pop, Punk, Funk and Hip-Hop - from David Bowie to Funkadelic, and Boogie Down Productions to Massive Attack. The journey man knows how to tell a good story and shares his many musical memories. As well as the music which has helped make his name, Goldie plays his musical inspirations, new discoveries and the odd festive treat.

Having been at the forefront of Drum and Bass for three decades, Goldie goes in the mix for the last half hour of the show with his favourite early rave and DnB tunes.
