Doctors face an unusual case which leads to a diagnosis no-one expected. A young boy is rushed into children鈥檚 A&E covered in an angry rash. Meningitis is ruled out and the medical team work tirelessly to figure out what鈥檚 wrong. Suspicion turns to a particular disease so rare that most of the doctors have never seen it before. If they鈥檙e right, swift action is needed to protect the young patient鈥檚 heart.
On the children鈥檚 ward, a young girl comes in after accidentally swallowing a split pin at school. Staff must decide whether to intervene or if it鈥檚 safe to let nature run its course.
