According to King Solomon of old God has 鈥榮et eternity in the human heart鈥�. Quite what that means in terms of the mind is another matter. Maybe that is why he goes on to say that 鈥榥o-one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end鈥�. For many of us, the joy in in the process of that 鈥榝athoming鈥� 鈥� trying to discern the hand of God in the beauty and mess and wonder and disappointment which is the tapestry of life on Earth. In today's Daily Service meditation, Baptist Minister Rev Richard Littledale reflects on 'The Illusion of Permanence'.
