Stuart revisits the British duo鈥檚 expansive and playful 1997 IDM album Not for Threes. Plaid, consisting of Ed Handley and Andy Turner, made the album after leaving legendary electronic outfit The Black Dog in 1995 and touring with Bjork as part of her crew and keyboardists. Heavily laden with samples and innovatively processed and morphed vocals from three different singers including the Icelandic powerhouse herself, the album is both melodic and buoyant.

Plus, punchy 1980鈥檚 art-punk, theatrical avant-rock and ominous experimental electronics.
