Four-year-old Summer has a condition that has caused her feet to twist inwards. Orthopaedic surgeon Miss Mills tackles the gruelling operation to straighten her leg bones in the hope of getting her up and walking.
Paediatric surgeon Miss Clarke also has her work cut out as she attempts keyhole surgery on a tiny newborn baby. Locum paediatric oncologist Dr Herd faces one of the toughest days of her career as she interviews for a permanent post at the hospital.
And baby Cameron has a heartwarming reaction to hearing his mum鈥檚 voice for the first time after having his first hearing aids fitted.
