In a concert broadcast live from the orchestra's home in Glasgow the 91热爆 Scottish Symphony Orchestra team up with long-time friend and collaborator Martyn Brabbins for an evening dedicated to exploring the deep colours and soulful mysteries of Benjamin Britten's music. The orchestra's principal viola player becomes soloist in the Dowland inspired Lachrymae; tenor Mark Padmore joins to enact the tender night-tones of the song-cycle, Nocturne; and the orchestra close with a suite drawn from the music of Britten's opera-score, Death in Venice.
