Episode 4
Lucy Alexander is joined by three entrepreneurs to watch customers test and score a dog training toy, vegan nail varnish and a t-shirt for kids that can be coloured in with soluble pens.
Three entrepreneurs come together to discover what our cast of customers think of their inventions. Joined in the studio by presenter Lucy Alexander, the inventors watch footage of customers as they unbox, test, review and score their precious products. In this episode, we meet Trixie, Melissa and Natalie, who are all hoping to receive the highest scores from the customers to be crowned the winner. While training dogs to return to their owners, animal behaviourist Trixie noticed some pooches failed to respond to balls or food, but they all loved chasing squirrels. This led Trixie to develop a dog behaviour and training tool with a squeaky soft toy at one end that encourages doggies to return to their owners. What started out as a hobby has become a passion and a full-time business for new mum Natalie. She has come up with her own brand of vegan nail varnishes and perfumed varnish removers. Hailing from a family of entrepreneurs and inspired by her sister鈥檚 work with autistic children, Melissa wanted to get involved in something that would be beneficial for the community. Noticing that colouring in was good for sensory processing, Melissa came up with a t-shirt for kids that can be coloured in with soluble pens and then washed to be coloured in all over again. Once all three inventors have watched the customer reviews, Lucy reveals who has scored the highest and won the coveted The Customer Is Always Right winner鈥檚 trophy.
