Get Set For The Weekend

Lead instigator of Acid House mayhem at the Hot night in 1988, Jon Dasilva is gracing us with a classic set at noon. Get your rave trainers on and go LARGE.

Jon Dasilva was one of the first DJs to create Acid House sets during his tenure as resident at the game-changing club night Hot at the Hacienda in 1988. Always innovative, his sets would create a soundscape that heralded a new era of clubbing.
Dasilva's career has taken him around the world. He was the first guest DJ to be booked by Slam in Glasgow back in 1989, first UK DJ to play Tresor in Berlin in 1990. He was also one of the first British DJs to play China in the mid-90s, and was resident on the first Strictly Rhythm Records Tour alongside Todd Terry and a young Roger Sanchez.
