Surprise Chef take over the Block Party. The Melbourne band bring a selection of killer instrumentals from their musical community including a mystery artist, and plenty of tracks from the College Of Knowledge imprint.

The player's ball this week celebrates the work of Toto's Steve Lukather who has played guitar for pretty much everybody including Quincy Jones, Stevie Nicks, Chaka Khan, Earth Wind and Fire, Boz Scaggs, Alice Cooper, Spinal Tap, Aretha Franklin and Donna Summer.

As well as that there's new music from Raul Monsalves, Caixa Cubo, Azymuth, Scone Cash Players and James Alexander Bright, and the soul train takes us back to 1981 for some classic Rick James.
