He's just released his ‘7 Weapons Series’ EP, which is inspired by the Gu-Long’s novel series ‘Seven Weapons’. On the album, Howie explores the effect of sampling, experimenting with what it means to take the sounds and give them new meaning and context.
His music is described as taking the sound of traditional China, and dragging it kicking and screaming into the electric age.
