The Waterboys, Emily Barker & James Grant
Mike Scott of The Waterboys and Australian singer-songwriter Emily Barker are Roddy's guests tonight and there's another chance to hear James Grant & The Hallelujah Strings.
Roddy Hart is live from Pacific Quay in Glasgow with a host of friends dropping in remotely alongside new releases and archive sessions.
The Waterboys have just released their 14th studio album – Good Luck, Seeker. Mike Scott joins Roddy to tell him about getting back to basics recording at home, being turned on to hip-hop music and hanging out with Bob Dylan.
Emily Barker is an Australian singer-songwriter, best known as the writer and performer of the theme to the 91Èȱ¬'s hugely successful crime drama Wallander. She shares the inspirations behind her new album, A Dark Murmeration Of Words – a timely exploration of climate change, racism, sexism and the myths of economic progress.
There’s another chance to hear James Grant & The Hallelujah Strings recorded live at The Quay Sessions earlier this year and new music from Travis
featuring Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles.
