Qasa wants to know, are Asians too relaxed about coronavirus?

First, Qasa Alom gets a round-up of the latest coronavirus news from our reporter Dil Neiyyar. After that we鈥檒l hear from Rahila Bano who has been keeping across the lockdown situation in the North of England. There are reports that many people are still flouting restrictions despite a tighter lockdown in those areas. Then Qasa wants to know, are Asians too relaxed about coronavirus? This comes after Lancashire Police had to break up a wedding party of more than 100 people in a Blackburn restaurant over the weekend, which is a breach of lockdown rules. We鈥檒l also hear from a bar owner and a restaurant owner on whether the new measures to keep customers and staff safe are actually effective. Plus, consultant haematologist, Dr Rekha Anand, tells us why we need more Asian plasma donors to help Covid-19 patients. We鈥檒l also hear from Dr Wassim Shamsuddin who is now a plasma donor after contracting the virus. Also find out why singer Shilpa Rao, and Pakistani director, Sarmad Sultan Khoosat are promoting the Urdu language through Sufi music, storytelling, poetry and literature.
