Music and memories from an amazing decade, expertly curated by Johnnie.

This week, we’re back in the archives for another superstar interview from 2012.

Boy George became an icon around the world in the early ‘80s, fronting Culture Club. But who were his key influences as a kid growing up in London during the era of Glam Rock? He discusses the early gigs he attended as an impressionable teen, and how those sounds and styles forever shaped his life. Plus he’ll pull out four amazing tracks that are rarely heard on the radio these days, but all of which are iconic in their own way.

Key moments in the respective careers of Eric Clapton and Peter Gabriel feature in our look at what was happening ‘This Week In Music’.

A truly epic live recording from the Top 30 this week in 1972 makes its way into Johnnie’s Jukebox, nominated by Neil Macdonald in Edinburgh.

And as ever, there are loads of requests, dedications and stories from our loyal listeners and new converts right across the show.
