Rab Lennox visits Ranfurly House in Dungannon to hear how the Scots were part of the area’s history from the 16th century. Sylvia Burnside joins night-sky enthusiast Willie Laverty in the hope of a glimpse of a rare comet, but finds a life form closer to home. Helen Mark chats to Virginian author David Joyce about his new book of fictional letters from his Ulster-Scots ancestors.
The Kintra team loves to hear from listeners – so why not get in touch with an Ulster-Scots yarn or maybe even suggest a tune you’d love to hear – you can email them at kintra@bbc.co.uk .
