Episode 2
Onkar deals with a demanding sister of the bride as he arranges a wedding feast at Cardiff鈥檚 Temple of Peace. Timings go astray, and when the food turns up, there's too little and it's too late.
In this episode Onkar is in charge of a Muslim wedding for 230 guests at a venue he's never worked at before - Cardiff's Temple of Peace. It's an arranged marriage, so bride Fahima and groom Hassan will meet in person for the first time at their wedding. The bride's big sister Suma has experience as a wedding planner herself, and so she intends to keep a close eye on Onkar and have a hands-on role in the preparation - although things don't get off to the best of starts when Onkar discovers that the invitations have been sent out with the wrong time on them.
Faced with a chaotic schedule and a demanding client, Onkar calls a family meeting to try to get a grip on proceedings - only to fall out with his caterer father Dev and create even more chaos for his stressed events team. In order to get his father back on side and earn his trust, Onkar agrees to open a fast food stall at the local community carnival in Brynna - much to his father's displeasure. Onkar turns the day into a triumph, however, as their curries go down a storm.
Unfortunately for the Wedding Guru, on the morning of the big day he comes down with man flu - the first in a series of mishaps and problems that turn the dream wedding into a nightmare, as Dev causes chaos in the kitchens, the bride is stuck in a side room, and 230 guests are left waiting for their food. A sneezing, sniffling Onkar tries his best to avert disaster.
