Young china collector Aiden is hoping to fund his studies by selling a very collectable piece - an old English sheep dog from Stoke pottery Beswick. He is loath to part with it, but it is too big for his small bedroom. Deborah is selling an item for an increasingly unfashionable habit - a art deco cigarette case. Artist Carolyn has brought in a 1930s preserve bowl by renowned potter Clarice Cliff, and Asif wants to sell a bureau that has been in his family for decades.
