Episode 15
Five dealers bid against each other for a vintage car lighter, a Georgian needlework box, a 1970s musical drinks decanter and a collection of Second World War memorabilia.
Nigel Havers welcomes four more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to five professional dealers who are on the look out for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.
Paul from Wrexham is hoping his vintage petrol lighter, based on Donald Campbell鈥檚 land-speed record racing car, will spark some interest from the dealers. Michael from East Grinstead has brought in a precious piece of his own family history: several boxes of photos, paperwork and medals that were owned by his grandfather, who had a pivotal role with the Desert Rats in the Second World War. Louise from Sheffield is offfering something completely different, a 1970s musical decanter that wouldn鈥檛 look out of place on Del Boy鈥檚 mantelpiece. Finally, Ann from Leighton Buzzard is hoping to pin down the perfect price for her clover-shaped, Georgian needlework box.
The dealers today are Adi Higham, James Gooch, James Broad, Lucy Ryder Richardson and Tash Francis.
