Mark and Stuart hear from influential legendary Brazilian musician Sergio Mendes

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast.

Today they hear from legendary Brazilian musician Sergio Mendes. The producer, composer, keyboardist and vocalist began his career in 1961 and became internationally famous for hits such as 'Mas Que Nada.' In a career spanning decades, he has released over 35 albums, won Grammy awards, been nominated for an Oscar in the music category and has collaborated with artists including Janelle Monae and Stevie Wonder. His iconic album HERB ALPERT PRESENTS SERGIO MENDES & BRASIL 鈥�66 was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2012. In conversation with Stuart, Sergio discusses his own musical influences and early life as well as his latest album and current work.
