Andy Burnham, Edward Colston statue and guru hour

Qasa asks, was it right or wrong for protestors to pull down a statue of a slave trader?

First, Qasa gets a round-up of the latest coronavirus news from our reporter Dil Neiyyar. After that we hear from the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham. He wants the government to publish regional R Numbers so that areas can tailor coronavirus safety measures specifically for their residents. Then Qasa asks, was it right or wrong for protestors to pull down a statue of a slave trader? As the ‘Black Lives Matter’ protests continue, protestors in Bristol tore down a statue of slave trader Edward Colston and threw it into the Bristol Harbour. Our reporter Pete Walker has been looking into the work done by hospital chaplains during the coronavirus pandemic. We hear from Rev’d Andy Dovey, imam Suliman Gani and a family member of a patient they tended to. And we have this week’s guru – Priti Vyas - joining Qasa to answer all your beauty questions.
