Episode 10
Kate Humble meets a hand-reared cheetah cub, and it is time for 20 wallabies to move house. But can the keepers outsmart these flying furballs?
Keeper Matt is seeking to bring out an animal’s wild side as he plays parent to an abandoned cheetah cub. He pulls out all the stops to get her moving and acting like a wild cheetah but can he teach her the vital skills she needs to become earth’s fastest predator? Kate catches up with them to check on their progress and discovers the young cheetah has a very special favourite toy.
Meanwhile, it is time for another animal family to move house - and on Animal Park, this rarely goes without a hitch. It is keeper versus wallaby when 20 of these athletic animals must be moved to a new enclosure down at Animal Adventure, but how do you catch a wallaby who can clear your head in just one hop? Keeper Ryan assembles a 30-strong team to find out. With the keepers determined to move the family to a new house, and the wallabies determined to stay put, it is a case of brains versus brawn. But who will reign victorious?
And over in the African Village, there is double trouble for keeper Tina as a pair of baby ring-tailed lemurs are welcomed into the world. The team meet the new arrivals and to check up on devoted mum Haciena and dad Julien - who likes to shirk his parental duties in favour of some ‘me time!’
