This weekend The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show will be celebrating Stevie Wonder's 70th Birthday, with an hour-long mix from producer and DJ Sam Redmore.

Stevie Wonder signed with Motown鈥檚 Tamla label at just 11 years old and 2 years later became the youngest artist to have a number 1 record on the American Billboard chart. While performing as a Motown act, he also wrote for other artists, penning the classic 鈥楾ears of A Clown鈥 for Smokey Robinson & The Miracles. Hardly a week goes by without us playing something Stevie has written, performed, produced or inspired. Throughout his stellar career, Stevie has worked with the 鈥榳ho鈥檚 who鈥 of musicians, from Chaka Khan to Snoop Dogg.

Producing tonight鈥檚 hour-long Stevie Wonder mix, is the highly talented DJ Sam Redmore. When Sam released his first remix in 2012 of Bob Marley鈥檚 鈥淚s This Love鈥, we knew we had a serious talent on our hands. Since then, whether it鈥檚 a tropical re-rub of Sister Sledge or an afro rework of James Brown, Sam鈥檚 always brought the quality grooves. So sit back and enjoy this week's bumper edition of Wonder.
