Half an hour of healing classical music

In Tune's specially curated playlist, today on the theme of healing.

Part of Mental Health Awareness Week, the third in a series of In Tune Mixtapes inspired by our human emotions and experiences.

Today, there's a musical journey on the theme of healing, beginning with Grieg's uplifting evocation of daybreak 'Morning Mood'. Karl Jenkins鈥檚 setting of the Gaelic Blessing 'Deep Peace' leads on to a meditative Italian Tarantella, and a piano transcription of Bach's 'Sheep May Safely Graze' - listen hard and you'll hear Leon Fleisher humming tranquilly along. Next up the Seven Brides and Seven Brothers celebrate the arrival of spring, and Venus brings peace from Holst's Planets. The last triumphant word goes to Handel, 'I Know That My Reedemer Liveth'.
