Features a guest mix from Japanese duo WaqWaq Kingdom, who are musicians Shigeru Ishihara (DJ Scotch Egg) and Kiki Hitomi (ex-King Midas Sound).
The band say they aim to draw lines between traditional Japanese and contemporary electronic, between Jamaican dancehall and 8-bit techno, between African polyrhythms and experimental music. They released their most recent album 'Essaka Hoisa' last November, which conceptually draws influence and imagery from traditional Japanese history and mythology.

'Pinch an inch' is Tom sharing 30 minutes of music from the John Peel archive, which lives at his family home in Suffolk. He'll 'pinch an inch' of vinyl selected at random from the 7" and 12" inch sheds. It's going to be a fascinating voyage of discovery, and what a way to find new old favourite music.
