Today, ahead of British Sandwich Week, Mark and Stuart celebrate the sandwich by playing a selection of songs that include potential sandwich fillings in the lyrics. With an eclectic spread of tracks including Ian Dury's 'Reasons To Be Cheerful' which references "cheddar cheese and pickle"; Prince's 'Starfish and Coffee' which mentions "a side order of ham" as well as "maple syrup and jam" and Princess Nokia's new single 'Green Eggs & Ham.' Song titles and band names also play a part... with soul instrumentals 'Green Onions' by Booker T. and the M.G'.s and 'Sliced Tomatoes' by Just Brothers as well as tracks by the likes of Salt 'N' Pepa and the band Salad.
