Features a guest mix from New York rapper Bishop Nehru. He's just released his new album album 鈥楴ehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts鈥�. Plus Tom 'pinches an inch' from records of the John Peel archive.
The album comes ten years into Nehru鈥檚 career releasing music; he had been working up to this one until he found himself artistically ready, saying he 鈥渨anted the project to be as eccentric as possible鈥�. The album was originally scheduled for release last November, and indeed Nehru has had the album planned out since he was in his early teens (he鈥檚 now 23). Nehru finds inspiration in the music of J. Dilla, Madlib, Black Sabbath and Incubus, among others; and in classic boom-bap, astral jazz and spaced-out funk.

After the guest mix around 1130, Tom will share music from the John Peel archive, which lives at his family home in Suffolk. He'll 'pinch an inch' of vinyl selected at random from the 7" and 12" inch sheds. It's going to be a fascinating voyage of discovery, and what a way to find new old favourite music.
