Ishmael Butler from the Seattle based duo Shabazz Palaces shares his thoughts on why it鈥檚 so hard to find experimental hip hop. Stuart鈥檚 featured album is the 1974 contemplative jazz record Witchi-Tai-To by saxophonist Jan Garbarek and pianist Bobo Stenson鈥檚 quartet.

More music comes from Liverpudlian synths, minimalist ambient compositions from the West of Ireland and vintage Edgar Froese and Pink Floyd.
