Soft and loving sounds from the alternative side of Africa. Vocalist and songwriter dumama has compiled a playlist of tunes to help us process the world. Featuring tracks rich in storytelling with creative arrangements from Zoe Modiga and Sibusile Xaba.

Dumama has just released a duo album with the multi-instrumentalist kechou who is of Algerian-German descent. Their music is released on the label for African experimental artists Mushroom Hour Half-Hour, and brings together folk songs of the Xhosa people, the instrumental music of North Africa and lots of other global influences.
