With Pongo

Mary Anne has a live session from Lisbon based musician Pongo, who is back over in the UK to celebrate the release of her new EP.

Lisbon based electronic musician Pongo plays live in session just after midday. The Angolan-Portuguese artist made her UK debut at the Great Escape Festival in May 2019 and her star rose quickly across the course of the year. Pongo first began rapping over kuduro dance routines at Quelez train station, before joining kuduro dance collective Buraka Som Sistema and making her musical debut on their album Black Diamond.
