John Illsley of Dire Straits joins Shaun in the latest episode of Need To Know Bassist. The legendary bass player is touring the UK with an evening of Music & Memories. A founder member and long-time bass player of Dire Straits they sold well over 100 million albums, spent 1,100 weeks on the UK album charts alone and received countless awards including four Grammies and three Brits as well as an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Shaun also gives another caller the chance to tell their Claim to Fame on air in Small Claims Court. He also does battle with the 6 Music audience as both pick a banger in Circadian Rhythms. Plus Matt Everitt has the latest Music News.
