Bells on Sunday comes from the Church of St Matthew, Chapel Allerton, Leeds in West Yorkshire. The tower contains a peal of six bells cast by Taylor鈥檚 of Loughborough in 1946. They were hung dead at the time and it was not until 1954 that they were hung as a ringing peal. The tenor weighs seven and a half hundredweight and is tuned to the key of B flat. We hear them ringing Plain Bob Doubles.
