Stuart celebrates the triumphant debut by English avant-garde folk artist David Thomas Broughton, The Complete Guide to Insufficiency. Originally recorded in one take in 2005, the album weaves together acoustic guitar loops and vocal lines lines and is known for its honesty and intimacy. This week鈥檚 music selections also include extracts of an Icelandic TV score from Valgeir Sigurdsson鈥檚 soundtrack album The Country, modern pysch rock from Polish band Oranzada and playful electronic beats from experimental composer and drummer FROST.
