Acclaimed British actor and director Kenneth Branagh is interviewed in a special edition of Talking Movies to mark the show's twentieth anniversary.
As part of Talking Movies twentieth anniversary celebrations acclaimed British actor-director Kenneth Branagh is Tom Brook's guest of honour in a special edition of the programme recorded in front of an audience in New York. Branagh, who in addition to his work on stage and television is a major figure in British cinema, discusses his latest film All Is True in which he plays William Shakespeare. Branagh directs All Is True which also stars British actors Judi Dench and Ian McKellen. In a wide ranging interview the actor-director reflects on his lifelong love of cinema: as an actor he has appeared in some 37 pictures, he has directed eighteen feature films, he's been nominated for five Academy Awards and won four BAFTA trophies.
