The Pro14 fixtures over the festive period traditionally feature the local derbies, and the focus in Scotland will be at Scotstoun, with Glasgow Warriors playing host to city rivals Edinburgh Rugby in a match that is also the first leg of the 1872 Cup.

The visitors secured the trophy in the Scotstoun fixture last season, but with three weeks of Pro14 fixtures before the break for European competition, both sides will be hoping to strengthen their position in the respective conferences.

Conference A pacesetters Leinster play Ulster at the RDS, while in Conference B a strong Munster side travel to Connacht.
