Cathy MacDonald presents a selection of the successful performers from the choral competitions at the Mod held earlier this year. After almost 30 years, the Mod returned to Glasgow and this programme will show all the choirs who took part in the Lovat and Tullibardine Shield competition including the eventual winners, Oban Gaelic Choir conducted by Sileas Sinclair. Also featured in this programme will be Stirling Gaelic Choir who won the Margrat Duncan Memorial Trophy for the second year running. The rural choirs are also represented with a selection from each choir who took part in the Lorn Shield and the Sherrif MacMaster Campbell Memorial Quaich.
