Stuart guides you through a deep listening meditation to improve your sonic awareness and expand overall consciousness designed by the accordion player and composer Pauline Oliveros. The Deep Listening Band formed in 1988 and recorded several albums in resonant and reverberate spaces including a ginormous underground cistern in Fort Warden that has a 45 second reverb. Tonight Stuart features their debut album featuring Stuart Dempster on trombone and didgeridoo, Panaiotis on vocals and Pauline Oliveros on accordion and vocals.

Also in the show - a new single from Squarepusher who returns to the vintage equipment that helped shaped his sound in the 1990s, experimental electronic ambient music from the Belgian composer Alexander Stordiau鈥檚 and Jamael Dean, a 20-year old jazz prodigy working on the bustling L.A. scene presents his album Black Space Tapes.
