The round-robin phase gets underway with group B as Daryl Gurney goes up against 2018's losing finalist Peter Wright, followed quickly by Rob Cross versus Gerwyn Price.

Group A then kicks off with defending champion Gary Anderson who takes on Michael Smith before reigning world champion Michael van Gerwen and James Wade bring the first session to a close.
