National Album Day: Television and Vashti Bunyan
Mark and Stuart celebrate National Album Day with music from their favourite albums, including Mark, Television's 'Marquee Moon' and Vashti Bunyan's 'Just Another Diamond Day'.
Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast.
Today, to celebrate National Album Day, Mark and Stuart play tracks from two of their favourite albums of all time. For Mark, Television's acclaimed 1977 debut album 'Marquee Moon' is one of his most loved releases. While, for Stuart 'Just Another Diamond Day' by English folk singer-songwriter Vashti Bunyan is among his favourites. He describes her 1970 debut album as "the most lovely record ever made."
