Jason Mohammad presents highlights of the 2019 Cardiff Half Marathon.

The Welsh capital plays host to a road race like no other, filled with history, iconic views and beautiful scenery, as superstars of distance running go head to head to be crowned 2019 champion.

Alongside the elites, over 27,000 runners line up outside Cardiff Castle to take on this predominantly flat and fast course to raise awareness and money for many emotive reasons close to their hearts, some of which we hear about in the programme.
