The semi-finals continue as the remaining six celebrity cooks battle for the MasterChef title.
Tonight the celebrities are surprised by a very special guest - one of the world鈥檚 most successful and influential food writers and chefs, Yotam Ottolenghi, whose food is renowned for its inventive use of vegetables and Middle Eastern ingredients as well as unorthodox flavour combinations. Their job is to recreate one of his complex and delicious signature recipes. Some have to battle with unusual spices they have never seen before, while others must turn their hand to incredible pastry creations.
Then it gets personal as the celebrities' places in the competition rest on dishes inspired by those they love or admire. They need to show that they have the heart and determination to remain in the competition. For the cook who doesn鈥檛 make the grade, their competition will be over.
