Steve builds up to Gideon Coe announcing the winner of this years Silverys. The shortlist has been decided by Steve and Gideon, and then the 12 albums from 1989 put to the listeners to help decide. Gideon then announces the Silvery prize winning album in his show, after the special Mercury prize show reveals the winner for 2019.

Plus another chance to hear Black Midi in session, recorded in June around the release of their Mercury nominated debut album 'Schlagenheim'.

And Steve gives you the chance to help soundtrack a current news story in The National Anthem., and brings the best new music, classic tracks, archive sessions and forgotten treasures.
