Officers check hygiene standards in Oxford takeaways, while in Studley, Warwickshire, they crack down on a butcher’s shop cheating customers by claiming meat from overseas is British. Trading Standards officers discover Spanish pork, Danish gammon and Dutch chicken all labelled as 'best British'. They also find beef being sold as Aberdeen Angus when it isn’t.

They also take action against a cowboy builder spending customers’ money on holidays in Greece, Tenerife and New York. He took a total of £220,000 from eight families while leaving them unhappy with his workmanship.
